Since 1997 the NFDA Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC) Program has been the only national certification program in the specialized field of advance funeral planning. The primary purpose of this voluntary certification is to promote and enhance ethical obligations, service to families, and compliance with laws and regulations affecting the funeral consumer, and to establish the highest standards of professional excellence.
