Memorial Arranger Training (Asia) program had been successfully launched in China Mainland and Hong Kong. The program is co-hosted by Pelican & Partners Ltd (PNP) and National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA). The program was launched in Hong Kong and Shanghai city, which attracted 45 attendees from over 20 cities across the country attending. Course Manager, Ms Melissa Posey Loose from NFDA gave a sharing of the 5 core elements of modern memorial arranger service skills, and instructors from Australia, Mr. Mark Siu was given a talk on modern green funeral concepts. The course instructor, Ms Deborah Andres attended the training in Shanghai, to share, to elaborate and give exercises, assignments and examinations to students. The founder of Pelican & Partners Ltd and Course Director, Mr. Wilson Tong customized the program, combining international ideas and local custom to maximize benefits of the course to all attendees. All attendees showed their commitment to continuous improvement of their professionalism, and they passed the course evaluation and were awarded a certification of completing the training.
