The funeral service industry of China is the largest in the world. China has 1,730 funeral homes and over 100,000 funeral services companies serving over 9.5 million funerals a year. During 2017-2019, 220 billion CNY (31.4billion USD) was invested for improvement of 305 funeral homes. For professional training sector, China only has 7 schools training 1,200 graduates for the industry.

PNP has arranged visitation with the help of NFDA, meetings with professionals discussing cooperation in the area of mortuary science, green funeral, funeral hearse and funeral arranger training.
