As Covid-19 ravages the world, hindering many multinational professional communication and academic exchanges. At the most difficult time, Professor Chan the President of HKU SPACE CC, invited Wilson Tong to plan and preside over Hong Kong's first professional certificate programme in funerals of international standards as a honorary courses director. Igniting the light for the development of modern professional deathcare education. The course invited 20 presenters from 7 countries and regions to share their valuable experiences with students. The course covers professional ethics, customer service, body science, pre-life planning, cremation services, green funeral, social enterprise responsibility and international outstanding cases, so that students could fully understand the modernization of this industry and the global development. Students’ response was overwhelming and the first course was successfully concluded on 27th November.
