The Pacific Centre for Advance Studies (PCAS) is an educational institution which is accredited by the Philippine government’s Department of Health (DOH). Since 2004 PCAS has helped Filipinos become license embalmers, which has allowed them to practice modern embalming throughout the Philippines and other parts of the world. PCAS constantly promotes a higher standard of learning to existing embalmers and funeral directors, by offering continuing education programs to keep them up to date with the technical skills of embalming and mortuary business operations. These programs are credited with credit units from DOH necessary for the renewal of their embalming licenses.
